Meatguy Steakhouse has recently opened a new branch in the heart of the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) in Jakarta, a strategic location in the business centre.

To mark this special opening event, Meatguy organised a "Makan Besar for Workers" as a gesture of thanks and appreciation to the workers who have made a significant contribution to the construction of this new branch.

Welcoming the First Guests at Meatguy Steakhouse SCBD

The choice of meat was not just about flavour, but also represented the quality that Meatguy customers would enjoy. In this event, the workers got to directly taste the special dishes that will be sold at Meatguy, that is Australian Wagyu grain-fed ribeye served with rice and chimichurri sauce.

A total of 124 workers were involved in constructing the new Meatguy branch in SCBD. We honoured the workers who diligently built the latest Meatguy branch, also allowing them to serve as our first guests at the SCBD branch.

The Special Makan Besar Menu

At the Makan Besar, Meatguy SCBD presented a special menu consisting of steak, rice, and chimichurri sauce. The rice in this dish symbolises togetherness and unity, while the uniqueness of the chimichurri sauce adds a flavour dimension.
